Diamond Solitaire Ring

High-end diamond/jewelry stores in LA? I am looking for a large diamond solitaire as a gift and I want it to come from a reputable store famous for the brilliance and cut of their diamonds. The only choice in LA seems to be Tiffany's and Harry Winston, but are there any other stores I should be checking out?
