When you see a person in Kmart clothes with big diamonds and louis vuitton? I was just posting about my LV bag and it got me thinking the reason I don't like to use it is because I assume that people will think it is a fake I also have a nice big engagement ring and when I wear it I think that people will take one look at me and assume it's not real diamonds because I don't dress fancy, I wear track pants and Kmart clothes. I was reading somewhere that if you want to know if someone's diamond is real check what they are wearing, if they are wearing kmart clothes its probably fake. Does it not occur to people that because buying clothes from Kmart saves you so much money you can afford to buy bigger diamonds? I don't care what I am dressed in, Im a stay at home mum and fashion passed me by years ago hehe. If you saw me in trackies with my ridiculously overpriced accessories would you think they were all fake? I dont always wear track pants, I do wear jeans too (if my trackpants have snot on them lol) but what I mean is I don't normally 'dress up' I dress comfy and I don't wear make up unless Im going out for a date night. You know what I cannot even tell if somebody is wearing clothes from Kmart hahaha They all look the same to me, when I referred to Kmart clothes I just mean cheap (like $15 a top cheap and $40 jeans) Wow can you really tell where people buy their clothes from? I am in Australia and the clothes in Kmart look so much like clothes from Target and Myer. Maybe its just me though lol
What is the name of the hand jewelry where one or more rings are attached to a bracelet by chains or threads? I've seen it worn by hindu women, as well as egyptian. Seems to be big within wiccan fashion too, and goth. If this sounds like anything recognizable, let me know.
I need a metal ring or something to bind about 365 notecards toghether in flip calendar fashion. Its 5" thick? I am making a flip calendar for a soldier going to Iraq. I am using 365 3x5 notecards. I need the cards to lay flat in the stack and flip easily to the next day. The stack is about 4.5" thick. I cannot find a metal ring big enough to bing them with at the top. What else can I use that would be durable and work well. Thank you.
Promise ring is too tight - better to be too small or too big? My boyfriend just got me a promise ring and I am very very happy. The ring is one size too small for my finger. I went to the store and tried to find a size 7 but they only had size 6's and 8's ( I have a size 6 now). Getting the ring resized would be more expensive than the ring itself (Its just a fashion ring but its not the money he spent - its what it means that matters to me). SO my question is.. is it better to have a ring that is too small or too big? I have been wearing this ring for two days now and I just got it off with vaseline and the skin underneath it is white like when you wear a band-aid for a while and it turns the skin white. What do you guys think? Advice please?
Where can I buy a large fluorescent or LED ring light for fashion photography? I am desperately trying to track down a supplier, retailer, in fact anyone who sells a large fluorescent ring light that I can use for fashion photography. I used one recently at a studio and it blew my socks off! TO clarify I'm NOT looking for a ring FLASH but a fluorescent or even LED ring light. After days of searching I found one business in America that sells something very similar to what I used at this studio but their website says they don't have any and don't answer any e-mails I've sent them!! But for the purpose of you knowing what I need take a look at this link: http://www.stellarlightingsystems.com/products/Photo%7B47%7D-Video-portrait-light-with-standard-mount%7B47%7Dc%252dstand.html As you will see its a big ring light that DOESN'T attatch to the camera but is freestanding. I can't believe that this guy in America is the only person in the world that has/doesn't have them so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very happy indeed. Thanks Need to add these details!!! 1. To those that have said "isn't the easiest thing to do is ask the studio where you used this light" I would have thought that you would have given me the credit to have already tried this angle! I did. and they didn't know where it came from and the unit didn't have any markings/brand on it either! To those that have suggested using something else I say this. I do use other options. I have flash options. In fact I have the very best ring flash options in my broncolor Ring flash however I want THIS PARTICULAR light because it gave a great look to my shots. PLEASE STOP suggesting other things. All I'm interested in is if anyone knows where I can find this particular light from. That's it. Sorry to sound blunt but I think it might help future responses.. Cheers Cheers
difference between an engagement ring and fashion ring? I love the look of black and white diamonds.... but so far I have only been able to find them as fashion rings. I don't care about money or carets of a big diamond... I was just looking for something a little more different than the regular diamond engagement rings... I would rather spend more on the wedding band. Is there anything wrong with using a fashion ring as an engagement ring? http://www.kay.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product1|10101|10001|-1|22446607|15064|15064.20564 http://www.zales.com/largeImage/index.jsp?PID=2976037 thank you for all the replys :D
What are some spring/summer fashion must haves? 10 easy points for the biggest fashion diva!? I have been out of fashion for a while now. I mainly wear those velour sweatshirts and pants that were popular a few years back 'cause they are comfy? Will capris be popular again? What about mini skirts? And what kind of sandals should I get? And sunglasses, big or small and what type of frame? And what about jewelry? Hoops, dangles, or smaller studs? Are belly button rings still okay? Should I get like a triangle top bikini or more like a bandeau style? I love low cut tops 'cause I have great cleavage or are they "out" now? And what are the big brands right now that are not too expensive (i.e. I can't afford all Prada). I love Baby Phat! Oh, can skinny girls wear Apple Bottoms or is that just a no-no? I also love Ralph Lauren. I have a 'classy' side and then kinda a 'sexy' side that I try not to make look slutty. I'm 5'8, 130 lbs., blond and have blue eyes. My best asset is my chest and I'd say my worse is that I don't have a great booty (it might be if I did squats!)
are you obsessed with fashion? so i love gossip girl fashion i like edgy clothes but comfortable big clunky rings and bangles and long necklaces anyone want to create a couple looks for me? just bored
What are some middle school fashion trends - 2009/2010? I've been home-schooled since the middle of fifth grade, now I'm in seventh grade, and I'm thinking about going to middle school this year, even IF it's already started. I'm ALWAYS worrying over my clothes and hair and I don't want to be the 'nerdy new-girl' or the 'dumb blonde with no taste in fashion'. I kinda like big ear-rings and gaudy jewelry (my grandfather owns jewelry stores) and I like low-cut t's with camisole's, of course. My friends, who I made in elementary school, don't really care much about fashion or how they look ... I DO! What kind of phone (at&t, please), clothes, shoes, jewelry, hair-style/color, etc., do I NEED for middle school? I don't even know if I WANT to go to middle school because of these things. If it help's I've got hot pink glasses, Valentino. Trends, please!!!

It's about a girl... can anyone give me a little advice? I know, I know... the typical boy meets girl story, but I'm not exactly a smooth talker, and I could use a bit of SERIOUS advice. So here we go (I'll try to make it brief); There's this girl (obviously), two years younger than myself, amazingly mature might I add, and she's just transferred schools which of course is a big ordeal for her. Now I know all guys say this about the girls that they like, but she is veeery intelligent, oh-so pretty, and a bit mysterious (which I'm beginning to like!)-- she's totally got me hooked in the mere week that she's been here. She's positively adorable, too. She wears these frilly corset tops, big old fashioned rings and necklaces, she has bows on the backs of all her high heeled shoes, she does her hair in these charming little twists, and has big blue eyes! The way she acts and talks-- I swear if she had a British accent, I'd say she stepped out of a time machine or something. Anyway! We've only talked briefly... you know, the normal introduction, the occasional 'hello' in the hallway, and a few other exchanges. I know she likes Massive Attack, and I heard her mention that she's a big Sherlock Holmes/Nero Wolfe fan. It's really not much to go on though... How do I break the ice!? A really pathetic question, I know, and I'm sure she's way out of my league-- but I really would like to get to know her! And can we pleeease keep it serious? Thanks! Hey guys, thanks a ton! Everyone came up with some great advice.... well, accept the first person o.O Anyways, her and I are going to this cafe/study place tomorrow-- as friends, and she's going to give me a hand with English Studies :D Like I said, you were all great, so it's going to hard to pick the best... *ponders*
Does Sex & The City ring true for successful women in big cities? The second movie in my opinion, stereotypes women, gays and married men, the fashions were awesome, and the women are are in good form despite their ages. However, I don't really get as to why married Carrie is always justifying her childish whims, while Mr. Big gives her a black diamond? I guess the character is supposed to be flawed and fabulous, but it makes career women appear to be just out for themselves.
What's you biggest fashion 'no way'? I wouldn't be seen dead in loads of cheap gold necklaces, rings and earrings. I HATE that!
Diamond Rings a Sin? Should buying a big honking diamond ring be considered a sin? The actual value of diamonds is a market created by DeBeers in order to keep selling diamonds. The real diamonds are mined in a horrific fashion using deplorable methods. To top it all off I would think displaying a diamond would be a form of ego, gluttony or maybe just ignorance.
Notebook for Fashion Inspiration/Portfolio? I'm heavily interested in fashion and styling and it's come to my attention that I should be keeping a notebook that holds my inspirations in order to help build a portfolio in addition to my bulletin board of inspiration in my room. Anyway, I've been trying to look for a basic large (about 10" long and at least 8" wide..however it can be bigger) ring notebook with blank sturdy white pages in it..not flimsy paper so I can cut and paste items onto the pages with a nice cover..and I've been looking online all day but I have yet to find anything like it. Could anyone link me to anything fitting this description? I'd REALLY appreciate it!
Christmas Wish List Ideas? I am a tween that is having a LITTLE trouble finding gift ideas for my wish list. You see, I need a wish list for both grandma's plus my parents. I have one for my mom and dad already, I just need MORE to all three wish lists. And I know it seems like I'm greedy, but I'm truly not. Here's wish list for my mom: -Curling iron -Disney Sing It! This list is just thoughts I pulled out of the air, so you need to stop calling me a greedy child. I'll have you all know, I'm also donating $100 to a charity organization of my choosing, and working at a soup kitchen. Plus, donating old clothes to the homeless!!
Who ever posted a question about their fashion sense and deleted it read this because I just wrote a 30 minute? answer and when I posted it it got deleted. Here's what your question said: Do I look ok like this or totally unfashionable? Would you talk to me? Does it look ok? Right for a party/bar/club - I'm 22 yo http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae236… http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/ae236… Additional Details It's the mirror that has speckles not the jeans lol Here's my answer that took me 20 minutes: No, definitely unfashionable. Especially for 22 years old. You look like you're dressed like an 8 year old. Save up some money and go shopping, and buy what's in fashion even if you don't like it. I made my brother do the same, he's 22 I took him shopping and took him out his comfort zone. He used to wear band shirts, baggy 10 dollar jeans, converse high tops and never did his hair and wore a Final Fantasy Necklace 24/7. Once I took him shopping, and bought him stuff that looked good on him but he didn't like and did his hair 'til he knew how to do it himself he loved his new look. He looks great and feels so much better about himself and has become more social. Anyway, what I'm saying is: you need to buy stuff that is in fashion even if you don't feel comfortable in it because everyone else will comment on how great you look. I'm guessing you live in America because of how out of date your clothes are. Australia is really up to date with fashion. So it might be hard for me to suggest shops but I will give you pictures and tips anyway. I'm 16 but despite the age difference we can still dress the same. What's in fashion right now are: Tailored jackets, big shoulders, acid wash and distressed jeans, studs on shoes, belts, bags and jewellery. High waisted skirts- pencil (meaning long to the knee or a bit below and tight ) micro mini (meaning short, about a hands width from the bottom of your bum) not slutty if worn with tights. Leather leggings, can be worn with a long dress type shirt. Distressed jeans are jeans with subtle rips or tears in the knees. http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&um=1&sa=1&q=distressed+skinny+jeans&btnG=Search+images&aq=f&oq=&start=0 Acid wash jeans are jeans that look like they've been bleached in patches.http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&um=1&q=acid+wash+skinny+jeans&sa=N&start=18&ndsp=18 If you're skinny get jeans in skinny or tight. They look better. When wearing high waisted skirts, wear a scoop neck shirt and tuck it into your skirt but pull it out a bit so it's not tight. Don't wear closed toe flats with high waisted skirts or dresses. wear open toed sandals or heels.http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=avlh1z&s=5 A nice belt will really dress you up for a night club, no belt will be suitable for a day of shopping or dinner.http://www.artofthesteal.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/05/azzedine-alaia-inspired-belts.jpg Don't wear too much jewellery.Either wear necklace earrings and rings, or bracelets and earrings nothing else. Don't mix and match jewellery colours. Stick with all gold, or all silver. That includes the colour of the buckle on your belt or stud on your shoe. http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art26614.asp Lots of rings and bracelets look good, like Heidi Klum at the Oscars. http://www.stylebakeryteen.com/images/Heidi%20Klum%2081st%20Annual%20Oscars.jpg I know that sounds confusing cause I just said don't wear too much jewellery but do wear lots of rings and bracelets. But there is a difference. I mean don't wear rings, bracelets, earrings, toe rings, necklaces all in one outfit. only wear a few, but lots of clumped up rings and bracelets look good. Dig me? Balmain is a perfect example of strong shoulders, acid wash jeans, black leather studded flats and heels, tailored jackets and studded anything! http://www.feelinghershoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/Balmain-Crystal-Embellished-Studded-Sandal.jpg http://images.google.com.au/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-GB%3Aofficial&um=1&sa=1&q=balmain&btnG=Search+images&aq=f&oq=&start=0 Hair and make up is important too.Especially for someone your age. You don't need to go all cake face, but heavy mascara and well time spent hair can do a lot. Straighten your hair and make a drastic side part and hair spray it. And put on some mascara thicker than you usually would. I really hope I've helped and I URGE you to save up a lot of money and go shopping. You don't need to buy Chanel, Balmain, Jimmy Choo or any of those brands. I don't and I look great. There are plenty of cheap stores with identical and sometimes better designed clothes. You will feel so much better about your self. This took me about 20 minutes to write by the way, haha. Good luck. Please go shopping. You look 12. I had to remove 3 links thats why theres not pictures for every sentence. um it's for her so she gets an answer still fuckface don't comment on something if it's just negative.
My mom is so old fashioned. She has a new cell phone and acts like she just cant figure it out? What is a good phone to buy her that is simple and rings loud with big buttons. She doesn't text. Please not the Jitterbug I have AT& T. I don't think that phone is compatible. I have already read the previous answers. Not too expensive.
What are the upcoming ins and outs for fashion in 2010? My high-school paper is doing an in-depth page on fashion for 2010 to ring in the new year, and I'm one of the only two guys on the 5 person staff. Fashion isn't exactly my forte, and I was looking for a little help. I have a decent list going from fashion websites, but I was wondering if anybody else had some knowledge on the situation. What I'm looking for are websites, or information, on the ins and outs for fashion in the upcoming 2010 year, any season. I have a lot of information of women's ins and outs already, so if you guys knew a few websites dedicated to men that would be a big help. Thanks in advance!

Does a ring have to match your clothes or other jewelry that you are wearing? I am not a big jewelry person so forgive me if I sound ignorant. Fashion/style experts I need your help and opinions! I found a gemstone ring on ebay I have fallen in love with and is my size. It has three different color gemstones (topaz yellow, pink and blue). However, those colors do not really "match" exactly any other jewelry that I currently have. Would it still look alright and stylish to wear the ring with whatever clothes and jewelry I have on? Or should I look for other pieces of jewelry to wear with the ring that are the same color gemstones (to have a "set" so to speak - which may be difficult) and/or only wear the ring when the color of clothing I am wearing goes with the gemstones as well? I would like to be able to wear this ring almost daily on my right hand. I just don't want to look like some weird eccentric lady wearing jewelry that sticks out like a sore thumb. It is a classy beautiful ring and I want to present it that way.
Why is today's culture so bad? Bad movies, bad music, bad fashion, etc...? Seriously! Music of the 80's: Michael Jackson, Guns 'N' Roses, Styx, Van Halen, Pat Benatar, The Police, A Flock of Seagulls, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Pink Floyd, Joan Jett, Prince, Queen. Even rap was cooler in the 80s! Music of the late 90's, 00's, early 10's: L'il Wayne, Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, Eminem, Lady Gaga, Timbaland...a lot of these "artists" are also trying to put more electronic sounds to their music stealing from the increasing fan support of Trance music (Armin) Fashion of the 80's: Lots of bizarre clothing, makeup, jewelry. Big hair, lots of style. You didn't always like it but it was sure to always keep you interested. Modern Fashion: Pants on the ground, lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground! Chrome teeth, wear a shirt that is 6xL to cover up your boxers, wear a hat at a weird angle and have it be 10 sizes too big, pop your pink shirt's collars while wearing flipflops and wearing only designer brands... When you have "stars" like Bam Margera and Hannah Montana...well...enough said haha! Y2K decade was bad and 2010's does not seem like it's getting better fast enough...does anybody know WHY? What happened to destroy USA culture like this? It seems like the only good movies of Y2K decade were Lord of the Rings...anyways...leave your opinions hehe.
Good, old fashion, childrens games? I work at a childcare center. My group is age 2 years 9 months - 3 years 9 months. Latley though I've had to combine with another group which has no head teacher for the time being, which adds onto my responsibility. Me and another staff member have 20 children each day. We share our room and outside time with another group of 20. The problem is that the other teacher is always asking for "10 more minutes" of outside time so that her kids can clean up. I get my kids cleaned up 5 minutes before we're supposed to be outside. After we clean up I read a story, hoping that by the time I'm done it will be our turn on the playground. It never works that way. The children get antsy during the waiting time, so one day I decided to play "Simon Says". It was a big hit! Also, ring around the rosie went over well. Somedays we sing songs.. The problem is that these games are getting old. Does anybody know any games like those that I can introduce?
will you give me some interesting trivias about different countries? something interesting, cool and unusual, likefamous places, people, music, movies, style, trends, things, food, books for example: New zealand-the movie Lord of the rings was shot here Spain-Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz are Spanish citizens Korea- “seaweed soup” famous Korean soup served only for birthdays. Mexico- big hats and bangles are a must-have fashion item. India-bohemian style out fits originated here. give me answers that are really interesting, i am not asking for the economical background of the country but something that is really cool and unusual. Thanks!

what are the rules of fashion ? based on what not to wear they change all the time. and i know most women i know we dont know a thing about what not to wear. i have been living in tshirt that are two sizes too big for me for the last year i had a kid. now after i lost all the weight i am at a lost on finding new clothes i am 21 but look like i am 17 and most clothes i get most of the teens i know have them too. if i had it my way i would wear t shirts and jeans and my cowboy boots every day. my husband is coming home in four weeks from overseas i want to look nice for him. all of the wife's i know are all fashion trendy but too stuck up to help me. i am very picky in what i wear i love flare jeans that dont go too low on the hips the shirt cant be too tight i think i always look fat or pg in the baby-doll shirts. i dont like hills i like my justin boots they can take a beat in but still look nice to me. i only wear a belt to keep my pants up i wear only my cross and sometimes earrings. the only rings i wear are my wedding bands. that is some what how u can find me. i dont know how match clothes so i wear only solids i have alot of skirts but dont know what to wear with them. i need help i need jeff and Stacie. can any one else help me.
What subculture do I fit into fashion wise? Subcultures are lame. However, I'm finding it hard to find other people who dress like me. I usually wear skinny jeans and flats, then bright coloured shirts- no brand names. I hate having brands seen. I wear a lot of jewellery- rainbow brite charms, a custom made cameo, cakes on rings, donuts on hair clips, ribbons etc. My hair is bright red atm, I'm going to get pink streaks soon. Underneath my hair, not on top like the early 2000's streaks. I've had a check and so far I've ruled out scene (hair not big or wild enough and those oversize glasses look weird), emo (not even close to dark enough despite wearing black nailpolish), kandi kid (I still want to look sensible during the day). Any ideas what other fashion I might fit with? I thought lolita but I'm not really into frills or lace. Also I have an incredible love of care bears, rainbow brite, enchanted, and my little pony. I put that subcultures are lame so I didn't get spammed with tons of messages stating 'subcultures are lame just be yourself' and other such comments. I guess maybe a toned down version of scene? Is it scene to want to wear cakes and pink all the time? With black make-up (otherwise I might actually look too little girlish). I must add that I don't wear antyhing dark- like razors or guns. Just happy things, like hundreds and thousands in necklaces. And pink lip gloss. Is that scene? I feel I'm not out-there enough!
Why men wear ear rings? Joke? Why men wear ear rings? I have often wondered how this trend got started, I now have the answer. A man is at work one day when he notices that his co-worker is wearing an earring. This man knows his co-worker to be a normally conservative fellow, and is curious about his sudden change in "fashion sense." The man walks up to him and says, "I didn't know you were into earrings." "Don't make such a big deal, it's only an earring, "he replies sheepishly. His friend falls silent for a few minutes, but then his curiosity prods him to say, "So, how long have you been wearing one?" "Ever since my wife found it in my car." Star it if u like it

Mixed Signals? Some help please.? o I met this girl on the bus from class due to a situation that the bus operator got into with an elderly lady. The second time that I saw her on the bus, we sat next to each other and talked for awhile. Apparently we went to the same 3 public schools, Elementary, Jr high school and high school. We kept on talking for awhile since it was a hour and 10 minute bus ride from the neighborhood, that we both grew up in, to the college campus that we both go to. She told me a lot of personal stuff. For example: Age, hobbies, music, the amount of immediate family members she has and their ages. Also, she even told me what street and ave she lived at and where she works, what position she was in, and what her shift is, even thought I never asked her for that type of information. Moreover, she told me that she remembers me from high school since we graduated a year apart even though I was the quiet type in high school. Furthermore, during the bus ride, she laughed at my jokes/stories that I told her and she had no problem poking and touching my shoulder/arm. However, at the end of the trip where everything seemed to be going well and where we were about to part ways, she only waved good bye, after she laughed about having her hands full with a coffee cup in one hand and a cigarette in the other. I don't usually have problems with dealing with girls anymore but this girl just intrigues me about the way she handles her self and her life. She seems like a good girlfriend prospect. Should I go to her job when its not busy to talk to her since she is the manger of the place? BTW, both times that I seen her, she wore a different ring on her wedding finger. The first ring seemed like a fashion ring since it was big and shiny. The second ring seemed like a emerald engagement wedding ring but it could be diamond. I am not sure since I only took a glance at it in the dark bus. I forgot to add this, her job is in the neighborhood that we live in. Its only 10 blocks away.
What kind of ring is this? this picture of Fashion Toast - http://twitpic.com/1che7x - shows that she's wearing a lot of cool rings. she's wearing a lot of rings one on hand, and only one big silver ring on the other. what kind of ring is that big silver one?
will you give me interesting TRIVIAS about different countries? something interesting, cool and unusual, likefamous places, people, music, movies, style, trends, things, food, books for example: New zealand-the movie Lord of the rings was shot here Spain-Antonio Banderas and Penelope Cruz are Spanish citizens Korea- “seaweed soup” famous Korean soup served only for birthdays. Mexico- big hats and bangles are a must-have fashion item. India-bohemian style out fits originated here. give me answers that are really interesting, i am not asking for the economical background of the country but something that is really cool and unusual. Thanks!
why do girls wear tight tight jeans these days? It looks creepy. Girls today look as skinny as sticks. And with jeans, they look like 12 year old boys. Why don't girls wear skirts anymore? Thongs, they're ugly. Girls should wear panties. Piercings, nose rings... YUCK! Why can't girls be girls anymore? The fashion today is crap. The girls look like whores and the guys look like clowns in they're big shirts and baggy baggy pants. I wonder what the fashion will be 10 years from now.
Can one wear gold engagement and wedding band on one hand and platinum on the other? I am not fashion saavy......I'll let you know that right off the bat. I typically prefer white gold, platinum or silver jewelry to yellow gold. Unfortunately my husband didn't realize this and got me yellow gold for my engagement/wedding band. Not a big deal, but I still like to wear my grandmother's platinum ring because it has sentimental value to me. Is this okay or is like wearing white shoes before Easter ;) ? I've always heard you don't mix the two, but was hoping maybe the person is a bit old fashioned. I also have a favorite pair of earrings that are sterling silver that I wear but I feel it isn't that noticeable because its not like they're next to each other. Thanks!
Can you please read/comment my prologue? I need a site that's well know and that i can get good feedback on stories I write. Ideas would be nice. But for the time being, can you let me know what you think of the following? Prologue “Swallowed” - Bush I witnessed seven different substances being spilt on the ottoman in the hour I sat on the couch in front of it. It was one of those old fashion wooden framed ottomans. The top was a swirly patterned cushion that was really squishy; probably because it had to have been sat on by a million different derrières. The first grotty substance I witnessed hit the poor pouf was spit from Jessica Moore’s mouth. She and some guy with a piercing in the back of his neck were making out beside me on the couch. They broke apart and I watched in silence as this drop of spit seemed to ricochet off of their drool covered mouths and land on the ottoman. It just sat there, in a dome of salivaness. A few songs later Jessica and Neck Piercing vacated and a stringy boy in khaki pants sat down. I wasn’t sure what a boy like that was doing at a party like this. That is, until he began talking rapidly about being the brother of the girl whose party this was. About how she didn’t have permission to throw this party whilst her parents were out of town but he couldn’t rat her out or she’d dob on him for hacking into their parent’s business in search of national secrets, or something like that. So there he was, talking to unresponsive me (or perhaps he was just talking to himself) waving a heavily salsa-ed chip in the air. I didn’t see the huge salsa capsicum chunk leave the chip, because I was trying to ignore the boy to the best of my ability by not looking at him, but I did see it fly over my shoulder and land on the footrest, north-easterly from the saliva spec. That was when some buff guy chucked the fishbowl across the room, over my head and out the window into the yard. It seemed pointless to me, but the guy and a group of gruff, daft looking guys around him seemed to get a lot of joy out of it. That’s when the skinny kid with the salsa chip bolted over to where a fish flopped on the floor near the fireplace. I was far too gone to get up and help, but secretly I hoped the fish would be okay. I went back to staring at the gradually dirtying ottoman. It now had a patch of water on it from the fish bowl. I’d traced three swirls with my eyes when some guy came over and began talking to me. He didn’t sit down because some skanky-skirted girl had vacated the couch beside me (and apparently fallen asleep) but he stood in front of the ottoman, waving his beer around and telling me all about his evening so far. I was polite enough to look up at him through my fringe, but I was more interested in the fact that he was waving his beer so frantically that it was sloshing onto the pouf. Eventually he got bored and walked away. He didn’t say bye, but then again, I hadn’t said hello. The next spillage came easier than all the others. A girl in ridiculously high heels walked past clamping her bleeding hand and a drop of blood fell right into the centre of the ottoman. From what I’d gathered through the surrounding chatter she’d flung one of her too-big rings into the rosebush out the front and not contemplated the thorns before jumping right in. By this time I’d been watching the Ottoman for about an hour. That’s when Anna came to stand beside me. “What’s up Mofo?” She asked, pushing the skanky-skirted girl over and sitting herself next to me. As she did I watched a boy sneeze and phlegm was added to my ottoman. Spit, salsa, water, beer, blood and phlegm. By this point I was feeling sorry for the poor abused foot-rest. “Not much...” I noticed a drawl in my voice, but wasn’t sure when exactly it had gotten there. “You’re a shocker on pot.” She cackled. Anna and I had gotten high in her shed before going out. I’d never done it before but I’d smoked cigarettes, how different could it be? It seemed to give Anna a bubbly tipsiness but it just made me rather zoned out. How else would I be capable of sitting in the middle of a party staring at an ottoman? “So what have you been up to?” I drawled, staring at the swirled cushion patterns. “Oh you know, drinking, smoking, giving head; the usual.” I laughed, but it was disconnected. “Oh come on Flick, get up and dance. I’m sick of standing around and- hey, what’s going on over there?” I looked to where Anna was facing. Pretty much the whole party had gathered around a computer. I stood from the couch so that I could see the screen from across the room. When I caught sight of what they were watching I keeled over and threw up everything inside of me… all over that poor Ottoman. Mistake - Where it says vacated, I meant occupied, lol.
Fashion/style help..... Melding indie and renaissance? I'm looking at developing my style..... I've been held back with money for awhile but I'm FINALLY breaking free! Booyah!! I need help, tips, info, advice.. anything and everything is totally wanted and welcome! Thanks everyone! Here's my vision: Earthy colors: browns, deep greens, dark purples and burgundies, etc. I want to go indie rock, maybe a tiny bit hippy... but with a twist. I adore the medieval and renaissance type styles, with their "almost fancy" and "very romantic" look. I like dangling sleeves, big hoods, capes, etc. Think Lord of the Rings or Chronicles of Narnia. I want to modernize this, and bring it into the indie style. Also note: I really like jeans, and skirts over jeans. I wanna look like a young, elegant medieval woman, who isn't afraid to get dirty, and knows how to rock. lol

Fashion question please help? Hi all, I have a question for you: I have a short (a little shorter than mid-thigh length-wise) halter top which I put the picture as well. I’m planning to wear it for a Thanksgiving dinner with in-laws. 1)Should I wear opaque black pantyhose with it or go bare-legged? 2)Put hair up or down? 3)What kind of jewelry should I wear with it? Big antique style gold/black ring and a wide gold/black bracelet or just long earrings? Here’s the picture: http://i45.tinypic.com/5cimfb.jpg Thanks in advance
Can someone make me some nice outfits for my vacation? I am going to New York City in 4 days. I've never been and I absolutly can NOT wait! I am a 13 year old out-going girl who loves to follow fashion. I am known for my huge rings, wild necklaces, and amazing accesories, purses, and shoes. I just cleaned out my closet though, and most of my clothes don't fit me anymore. Can anyone make me a complete outfit with a top(s), pants/shorts/skirts, shoes, accesories, head bands/hats, a purse, and any scarves (optional). My biggest fashion idol is Miley Cyrus. Things to know: -My favorite stores are Hollister, Kohls, Rue 21, Forever 21 -I ABSOLUTLY LOVE huge, bright, and amazing accesories. -I like hats and scarves, if they go. -Anything with vibrant colors and patterns are a must. -ANDDDD i need something that does not break the bank. I don't like to be too terribly weird or different but at the same time, I like to be an individual. Thank you so much!!! P.S. - Remember, I am shopping this afternoon so I need some clothes for NYC!
Fashion Lovers I Have A Question!!? ok a few things NUMBER 1 i am a brunette, i have long hair (an inch or two below my boobs), i have natural highlights, im 5'4"ish and a size 8 with 34A boobs, im pale, im 16,....(if any of that helps)...so, which would look better on me? (and if poss, why it would look better or why you like it). also, which is more old-fashioned, like true old-fashioned, and which is more old-fashioned with a modern twist? i obviously cant ask my mum, and no im not a ****, i need a boost as im going through a tough patch and this will make me feel nicer and more confident thanks in advance xxx http://www.lasenza.co.uk/nightwear/glam-sexy/level3.aspx?d=3&collection=9&style=697779&product=171667&img=a708_098 http://www.lasenza.co.uk/nightwear/glam-sexy/level3.aspx?d=3&collection=9&style=698233&product=171667z&img=EX_208 ps what is the equivalent of a babydoll that you can wear in the daytime (as underwear?) ((only got 2 answers so reposting xx) NUMBER 2 i thought up a look for myself and i need help finding it...a green/white lacy cami with a sort of rust/topaz/orange cardi (not with big details, just an ordinary one). with a shoulder bag, brown leather, the actual bag bit was very small, like box-shaped, maybe a satchel-type things, but obviously extremely small (size of my hand), reminded me of saddle bags (??) NUMBER 3 i saw a family heirloom the other day and fell in love with it, and now want to find something similar!! it was a silver ring (probably white gold, i dunno), quite old, a narrow silver band with a large oval face, this had a line of 3 quite large diamonds down the centre and a selection of smaller diamonds studded around it, with one small diamond on each shoulder...i would really love to get something like this, so any help...(ive tried looking loads already!!) LAST thing... i have a relative who doesnt have much time left and its really upsetting but im being strong for my family and only crying occasionally in my room and not thinking about it too much...is it weird to be thinking about what im going to wear for the funeral?? its not like i dont care, its more like its something (sort of good in an extremely weird way, not sadistic, but girls love clothes) to concentrate on?? SORRY SORRY SORRY ONLY HAD 1 QUESTION LEFT SO THOUGHT ID PUT IT ALL IN HERE :P:P:P love you all xxxxx yeah lol i dont want a diamond one, just maybe a cheapish one (cubic zirconias or something) that looks similar and i am close to them and love them so much and i dont think im going to cope when theyre gone...its just something to sort of keep myself busy wtih, like how my mum is running on adrenaline but afterwards she will collapse...this is like the same but different, sort of just concentrating on it and pushing all the bad stuff to the back of my mind, especially as ive just found out that i wont be able to see her again before...and its not like i think about it all the time when i go shopping and stuff, its just something to focus on...like in a weird way, as i said above nice stuff=confidence boost, its kind of like nice stuff=strength to get through it all without collapsing...i know it doesnt make sense, im rubbish at explaining, but i promise im not a sadistic monster xxx
IM looking for a church with these qualities, what do you think? Do you value these in a church? I had this conversation with my wife yesterday over lunch. I am a former pastor of 15 years and am looking for a church to attend. (talk about a strange feeling.) This is my personal criteria. 1) Humility among the pastors- In these days of big shots walking in the church meeting late every week with body guards surrounding him, a humble heart is valued. I can't stomach flashy, fleshly churches with big diamond rings and glamor and glitz. 2) The presence of God- I value experiencing the anointing and presence of God. Boring canned messages turn me off. I long for messages delivered with passion and heart. I want to leave church changed not leave feeling worse then when I came. 3) Sound Biblical teaching- I don't like flaky strange churches that make you feel you are in a mental hospital. I do love when the Spirit moves in church. I don't like churches where only motivational speeches are given. We need the conviction of the spirit, not a seeker friendly sugar coated gospel. The hyper faith/prosperity gospel has done so much damage to the body of Christ. It is a manipulative self serving gospel. 4) A relaxed atmosphere- I don't like the churches where you have to dress up in suits and ties and everyone looks like they are in a fashion show. I have seen pastors compete with who has the best and most suits! I love churches that value authenticity and love people the way they are. Many churches in this "casual" category go to far and have dead spiritless services. The "cool trendy spirit" can become a lukewarm spirit if you have heart drift and watered down gospel with no conviction of the spirit. 5) Healthy, Unified, and balanced Some churches are in non stop drama mode. They burn through pastors every few years. The leadership always is in a uproar. Avoid these churches. I have been in church splits it is like a divorce. Also avoid controlling manipulative pastors or controlling board run churches 6 )Love the people. I do not believe he would be sitting on the set of TBN or hanging with the big shots, he would be loving the people in the streets and raising up world changers from the most obscure places.

The Big Brother Wedding - Bogus or BOGUS? You decide :-)? You know, if this was my 'special day', and I was a girl, I'd certainly NOT want my special day spent in the company of almost complete strangers AND, with the 'pastor' relayed via the BB tannoy. And my 'hubby' would certainly have a ring that fitted. Also, call me old fashioned, but I'd be declared 'husband AND wife', not 'MAN and wife'. Doh. But at least the sun shone on the bride :-) And now for the Honeymoon in the BB House. Oh joy. Bogus or BOGUS? You decide :-) shrndcks... I agree, it looked like a funeral. Maybe it's a funeral for the Household budget. So why didn't the (we are told) real girlfriend show any reaction? Was she thinking, jeeze, I dodged a bullet there?

Does this outfit sound ok for a 15year old girl on red nose day? Blue/grey skinny jeans Blue top Red, blue and white checkered scalf (hope you know what i mean!) Black flat shoes Red sunglasses (you know the big ones?) But i'll be wearing them on my head most of the time Big red ring (you know like a statement ring) Blueish green and white bangles on the same ring as my arm :] So what do you guys think? Oh and as for makeup i'd be wearing foundation, blusher (more than usual because i can!) Eyeliner that's black and mascara and lipgloss :] and my hair will be tied up in either messy un or pony tale i haven't decided on that one. But i'm also wandering weather it'll look better with denim skirt and black tights instead of the jeans? WHAT'S THE RIGHT FASHION?!
Need some help for this outfit (pictures)? It's a pretty dressy event, black and white theme. I bought these shoes from wayne cooper, http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll96/maz2910/SDC11523.jpg but now i'm not so sure if they go with the dress that well... http://i286.photobucket.com/albums/ll96/maz2910/SDC11522.jpg (ignore my messy room lol) And any suggestions for accessories, i'm thinking, big statement earrings in black, no necklace or bangles, but then my big black ring. So i'm mainly asking about the shoes, and whether the outfit looks ok as a whole. Thanks my lovely fashion advisors!
