Do you need a license to sell homemade jewelry online?

I plan on starting a business selling homemade jewelry online, but I need to know if i would need a license (I'm in Florida) and if you have any other tips, that would be helpful.

1. technically no. if you plan to make a lifelong business out of this though you should register your business and look up state trading laws for rule, regulations and any applicable taxes and deductions etc. Good luck with your busines!
2. No - you don't need a license to sell your jewelry on line - but in you state (FL) sales will require that you acquire a sales tax license, so that you have to keep track of sales and pay taxes, income and sales.
