Diamond Solitaire Ring

adding small round diamond to solitaire ring?

I have a solder bridal ring set. A princess cut solitaire diamond and a diamond band. Can the jeweler unsolder the ring then take the small round diamond from the band and place it along the side of the solitaire ring? Also how much do you think labor will cost? Do you think it will look nice or just keep it the way it is?
