- 3.50 and a pakcet of bacon fries
- Not very much i would think. Its second hand and anyone who wants a ring will probably want a new one.
- Not much 9 carrat gold, never worth much, save up buy 18/22 carrat gold..Diamond insignificant,..A shop would not give more than tenner..Still a things worth what anybody is willing to pay..
- Not an awful lot. Don't forget that the mark-up on new jewellery is somewhere in the region of 350% +. What colour is the stone? Is it completely unflawed? Both of these make a difference. 9 ct gold marks it down straightaway. Say you were looking at a 1 carat, brilliant-cut, solitaire, maybe set in platinum with diamond shoulders (one of my favourite settings) with an 18ct shank, you would be looking at an Insurance valuation of only 7-8 K depending on flaws. Halve that for what a jeweller might offer you for what is a reasonable quality ring. Check out places like your local Samuels and reckon that your ring is worth a lot less than the new ones in the window (probably only a quarter), if you go through the Trade. You would probably do better selling privately or keeping it as a "dress" ring.

- About $300.00, as the gold is only 1.8g, with 0.15cttw diamond. This price is for solitaire ring with common diamond. It did not contain the cost of handwork, and not cover higher grade diamond. If you want to know the exact price, go to the local jeweler's shop for help. But they would give you higher price when evaluation.
- Not a lot, unfortunately. The diamond is small, and 9ct is pretty low grade. If the diamond was A1 condition (ie colour/clarity) it would most likely have been set in a higher grade gold.
- 9ct gold price per gram £5 40/47 Diamonds i can tell you if you can tell me this Cut shape, Colour, Weight and Clarity. Not very much i am afraid to say
