Diamond Solitaire Ring

Is there a way to sell my old diamond jewelry for cash?

I live near philadelphia so anywhere around there. I have heard of pawn shops but I have never tried to do anything like this before. Even if I wanted to sell my jewelry over the internet, I would have no idea any information buyers might ask including the weight and carot.

  1. i would say ebay.com best.
  2. ebay
  3. ebay.com is good. but.. if you dont have/want an account.... try craigslist.com.
  4. go to some jewelrey stores and let them offer you.
  5. Ebay.com Ebay.com Ebay.com Ebay.com
  6. Sell it to a jeweler! Take them into a REAL jewelry shop. (S)he can use the diamonds in new designs if (s)he is a designer.
  7. Your best bet is probably to go to jewelry retail stores such as a store that sells jewelry for cheaper than mall prices but still pretty expensive. These places will probably buy back your stuff at a decent price with the mind to melt it down and make new jewelry. If worst comes to worst and you need some quick cash, then pawn shops are probably your best bet.
  8. Some jewellery shops will buy second hand jewellery - either to melt down/reuse if they also design, or to resell if the jewellery is in good condition. Your best bet is to go around and ask in different places as their offers will widely greatly. If they are thinking about buying then they will usually offer you a lot less than its cost value. It is defiantly worth looking around. (More expensive areas will often pay more money for good jewellery because they can sell it on for more). Even if you do not get any good offers they might be able to give you any idea of the carat, etc. I'm afraid my knowledge of pawn shops is non-existant however!
