7. i work in this industry. i can only tell you what i think is true. the chain stores, which means the stores like Kay and Jared have a lot of stock to move and the quality is fair to good usually. independently owned jewelry stores are probably your best bet. or try a pawn shop, they really want to move the inventory and will bargain.
