How much would a 5 karat flawless princess cut diamond ring be?

The ring was 5 karat (avalible in 4.5 and 4) princess cut diamond on a platinum band. Flawless. It has one stone on either side each being 1 karat. It was breathtakingly beautiful but the price wasn't listed. I really need to know how much it would be. I wanna propose to my gf. I'm prepared to spend from 10 to 60 grand. Is it in my budget or do I need to take a second morage on my house? How much is the 5 karat? The 4.5 and the 4?

Do not take out a second mortgage on your house to pay for the ring. I think it is in your price range, just go and take a look at it and find out how much it is. If you do have this much money to spend... can I make a suggestion?? Take your honey on a nice cruise to St. Thomas. Down there you can purchase a ring at a fraction of the cost. For example my engagement ring would have been $2500 in cardow in NYC but in St. Thomas we paid $550 for it. You can get a much bigger ring for the same price and quality since they are the same stores down there (Zales etc.) they just have great prices in fine jewelery, and you can take her on a beautiful vacation and propose to her on the beach. You dont get much more economical or romantic than that if you are looking to spend that kind of cash. Good luck, and congrats on the up comming engagement.

Ok, so do you know the color of the stones? And do you mean 5 carats total weight, or the center stone is 5 carats? Either way a 5 carat flawless D color is around 250,000- by itself, no joke. Good luck.
